Surabaya EVERGREEN FEED Office Building
Background
Located in the core business district of Surabaya, Indonesia, the Surabaya Evergreen Feed Office Building covers a total area of 12,000㎡ and serves as a key office hub for a local feed enterprise. It must withstand intense ultraviolet radiation, high humidity and salt spray erosion under the tropical rainforest climate, imposing extremely high requirements on the durability, decorativeness and functionality of exterior coatings. The technical plan adopts a three-layer composite protection system: an anti-alkali sealing primer is applied first to effectively block the penetration of alkaline substances from the wall; an elastic crack-resistant stone texture paint is used as the intermediate layer to combine decorativeness with flexible crack resistance; a weather-resistant clear coat is applied as the top layer to form a dense protective layer via self-crosslinking film formation, with all layers working together to ensure the coating meets comprehensive performance standards. During construction, the substrate is thoroughly cleaned and sanded to meet the requirements of substrate treatment before applying the anti-alkali sealing primer. After it dries completely, the elastic crack-resistant stone texture paint is troweled on, with the film thickness controlled within the range of 2.5-3mm, and finally the weather-resistant clear coat is sprayed, with strict control over the construction parameters of each process. Final tests show that the coating has an adhesion force of ≥1 level, weather resistance time of ≥2000 hours, scrub resistance of ≥2000 times, a waterproof rating of IPX7, excellent hiding power and good leveling property, fully meeting the project's requirements for long-term protection and aesthetic appeal.
