Background

Project Background: This project involves the exterior coating of the Tongliao People's Procuratorate office building, a typical government public building with a total exterior wall area of tens of thousands of square meters. The local region features a temperate continental climate, with extreme winter temperatures dropping below -30°C and summer highs reaching 35°C, along with frequent sandstorms and high ultraviolet radiation intensity. Conventional coatings are prone to cracking, powdering, and fading, failing to meet long-term durability requirements. Technical Solution: Natural stone texture paint was selected as the main decorative layer, paired with exterior high-elastic paint to form an elastic crack-resistant protective layer, while Wall-Protection Nano Alkali-Resistant Primer was used for sealing. The rock particle content in the natural stone texture paint is ≥90%, the elongation at break of the exterior high-elastic paint reaches ≥350%, and the pH value of the alkali-resistant primer is stabilized below 8 to effectively block the penetration of alkaline substances from the wall. Construction Process: Thorough substrate preparation is required before construction, including removing loose materials and sanding the surface until smooth, with the moisture content required to be below 8% prior to priming. The construction environment must be controlled between 5°C and 35°C; two coats of the alkali-resistant primer are applied first, followed by two sprays of natural stone texture paint, and finally two coats of high-elastic topcoat, with the total dry film thickness reaching over 180μm. Project Results: Testing shows that the coating withstands over 2000 hours of artificial aging, has a scrub resistance of no less than 10,000 times, and its elastic strain capacity can accommodate micro-cracks up to 0.5mm in the wall. The project passed acceptance by third-party authoritative institutions, meeting all national standards. The client praised the coating for its aesthetic appeal, durability, and low maintenance cost, and we will provide a 5-year warranty service thereafter.
