JIASHILI's Thailand base expansion project launched to boost Southeast Asian coating production capacity and meet market demand.

The expansion project of the Thailand base officially started to build a regional coating production hub.

JIASHILI recently kicked off the expansion work at its existing production base in Chonburi, Thailand. The site already shows the skeleton of the new factory building, with multiple large construction machines working intensively. This expansion is a crucial step for JIASHILI to penetrate the Southeast Asian market and fill the gap in local high-end coating supply.

According to the on-site construction supervisor, the new factory covers an area of about 12,000 square meters and will connect seamlessly with the existing workshop to form a larger production cluster. The main structure of the project is expected to be completed by October 2024, with trial production starting in December.

Two new production lines will significantly increase local coating capacity.

The core part of the expansion is the addition of two coating production lines with fully automated control systems. Each line can produce 2 tons of mid-to-high-end wall paint and wood varnish per hour. Once both lines are operational, the annual coating production capacity of the Thailand base will jump from 10,000 tons to 30,000 tons, enough to meet the order demands of the entire Southeast Asian region.

JIASHILI technical staff said the formulations used in the new lines have been optimized for the local market. For example, to suit Thailand's hot and humid climate, the moisture resistance and adhesion parameters of the coatings were specifically adjusted to ensure stable performance when used locally. Several local construction companies and home decoration firms in Southeast Asia have already pre-ordered the first batch of products from the new lines.

Full operation will further strengthen JIASHILI's position in the Southeast Asian market.

A JIASHILI official said that after the expansion of the Thailand base, logistics costs for transporting products to various Southeast Asian countries will be reduced, and delivery cycles will be shortened, helping local customers receive the required coatings faster. It is estimated that once the new capacity is fully utilized, JIASHILI's market share in Southeast Asia will rise by about 15%.

For local consumers, more high-quality, cost-effective JIASHILI coatings will also enter the home decoration market more quickly to meet the demand for eco-friendly and durable coatings. If you have any coating procurement needs, feel free to contact JIASHILI's local distributors for details.
