SN-DEFOAMER 345 defoamer is a silicone-based compound designed specifically for thick-paste and elastic coating systems. It rapidly eliminates all types of air bubbles, effectively preventing pinholes and blistering defects during thick-film application. The recommended dosage for finished products is 0.5%-1.5%, with 0.6%-1.0% advised for elastic thick-paste systems. Feeding should be done in two stages: 30%-50% added during the grinding phase, and the remaining amount supplemented during the paint formulation stage. Overdosing must be avoided as it will lead to poor film adhesion, as well as shrinkage pores and fish-eye defects.
