RF15 Rheology Agent

RF15 Rheology Agent is a pre-activated magnesium lithium silicate gel that can be directly added to formulations without the need for solvation and aging. It is suitable for a wide range of water-based coatings, including interior and exterior latex paints, high-PVC primers, stone-like paints, textured coatings, sand-in-water coatings, and aqueous color pastes. This agent rapidly forms a colloidal network under low shear conditions to effectively prevent the sedimentation and layering of heavy fillers such as calcium carbonate and barium sulfate. It exhibits excellent thixotropy, ensuring no sagging during storage and smooth application while barely affecting the medium-shear viscosity and gloss of the paint film. The recommended dosage is 0.4%-1.0% for ordinary interior and exterior latex paints, and 1.0%-2.0% for thick-paste coatings; optimal performance is achieved when used in combination with HEC.
