Protective Colloid R105

Protective Colloid R105 is a dedicated core stabilizer for water-in-water and water-in-sand multicolor coatings. Upon contact with water, its dry powder swells to form a three-dimensional colloidal protective film that isolates color particles from the base paint, effectively preventing color bleeding and migration. It also establishes a stable thixotropic suspension system to precisely control the hardness of color particles, greatly improving spraying smoothness and finishing quality. The recommended dosage is 4.0%-7.0% for water-in-water multicolor paints and 3.0%-6.0% for water-in-sand types. For application, pre-mix the product with deionized water to form a concentrate before adding it to the base paint system; direct addition or high-shear processing must be avoided.
