Hydrophobically‑Modified Alkali‑Swellable Emulsion Thickener HS3600

The HASE hydrophobically-modified alkali-swellable emulsion thickener HS3600 can simultaneously enhance low- to medium-shear viscosity of formulations. It offers excellent anti-sagging, anti-settling properties and outstanding storage viscosity stability. Its resistance to microbial degradation far surpasses that of traditional cellulose, effectively minimizing spray splatter during roller coating. Suitable for interior and exterior latex paints, stone-textured paints, and thick-film texture coatings, the recommended formulation is HS3600 + HEUR polyurethane thickener + HEC cellulose. The standard dosage is 0.2%–0.8% of the total paint mass, and it must be activated under alkaline conditions of pH 8.0–9.0.
