Hypromellose、HPMC

Universal Hypromellose HPMC is a high-performance non-ionic cellulose ether thickening and water-retaining agent. It offers low-shear thickening, anti-sagging properties, excellent water retention, and suspension stability, significantly improving the workability of troweling and rolling applications while reducing coating cracking and powdering. With a wide pH adaptability range and better salt resistance than CMC, it can be blended with HEUR and HASE thickeners and also exhibits thermal gelation characteristics. The recommended dosage ranges from 0.2% to 0.7% for putties, 0.1% to 0.4% for stone coatings and thick coatings, 0.15% to 0.5% for fireproof coatings, and 0.1% to 0.35% for latex paints.
