It markedly enhances the hardness and wear resistance of putty, effectively reduces shrinkage and cracking risks during thick-layer application, improves sanding smoothness, and cuts formulation costs. Due to its relatively coarse particles, it is suitable only for base-level coarse leveling and must not be used in mirror-surface putties. The recommended dosage is 8–20%, with strict control over mud and iron impurity content.
