BIT preservative is specifically formulated for low-odor latex paints. As a broad-spectrum and long-acting anti-corrosion product, it contains no formaldehyde or halogens. The mainstream specification BIT-20 has 20% active ingredient content, with a recommended addition level of 0.1%-0.25% in finished products. It tolerates a pH range from 2 to 12, exhibits much better thermal stability than traditional CMIT/MIT preservatives, and features low odor and high safety.
