Expanded Perlite

Expanded Perlite is a lightweight, porous inorganic mineral filler with outstanding thermal insulation, fire resistance, and heat retention properties. It is ideal for non-expanding fireproof coatings, thermal insulation coatings, and thick-film fireproof textured coatings, effectively reducing coating density and minimizing cracking during thick application. The standard dosage ranges from 15% to 30% for thick-fireproof coatings, 8% to 20% for insulation coatings, and 5% to 15% for fireproof textured paints. Hydrophobic modified grades should be used, and high-speed shearing or sanding must be avoided to preserve its performance.
