The recommended dosage ranges from 8% to 16% for matte interior wall paints, 6% to 10% for high-PVC interior wall formulations, and 10% to 20% for primers and putties. However, due to its poor weather resistance and tendency to powder and yellow upon exposure to light, it must never be used in exterior paints. Its dispersion in water-based systems is more challenging, requiring sufficient dispersant to achieve optimal results.
