HEC‑40000 Powder（Hydroxyethyl Cellulose）

HEC-40000 Powder (Hydroxyethyl Cellulose) is a high-viscosity hydroxyethyl cellulose thickener with the highest thickening efficiency among all HEC products. It is specifically formulated for high-PVC exterior latex paints, thick primer coatings, texture coatings, and water-based industrial paints; it is not recommended for ordinary interior flat paints. Adding only 0.15%-0.35% of this product can significantly increase low-shear viscosity, offering excellent anti-sagging performance to ensure smooth, non-flowing thick coatings. It features good water retention, long open time during application, and strong pigment and filler suspension stability. Moreover, it has strong compatibility and can be used in various coating systems. For optimal performance, it should be pre-wetted with additives or pre-dissolved into a masterbatch before being added to the formulation to prevent clumping and ensure effective results.
