1250 Mesh Wollastonite

1250 Mesh Wollastonite is a fine-particle needle-shaped functional filler that significantly enhances film hardness, scrub resistance, and crack resistance. It also helps regulate alkalinity, improve hiding power, and boost outdoor weather resistance. The recommended dosage ranges from 6% to 14% for latex paints, 8% to 16% for inorganic coatings, and 10% to 18% for primers, fireproof coatings, and powder coatings. For high-gloss finishes, only the silane-modified version of this product should be used, as ordinary unmodified types reduce film gloss. Its crack resistance is slightly inferior to that of 800-mesh wollastonite, so coarse-particle variants are preferred for thick-film crack-resistant systems. This product can be added directly during the grinding stage for dispersion.
