Barium Sulfate (Natural Barite)

Bawang Barium Sulfate (Natural Barite) is a high-performance extender pigment featuring ultra-low oil absorption, enabling high loading rates that reduce formulation costs. It exhibits excellent chemical stability, resisting acids, alkalis, and neutral media, making it suitable for all types of coating systems. This product significantly enhances film density, hardness, water resistance, and weather resistance while improving titanium dioxide dispersion efficiency and covering power. It maintains its performance without yellowing or powdering even under outdoor conditions and demonstrates outstanding salt spray resistance. Recommended dosage ranges from 1%–4% for interior latex paints, 2%–6% for exterior latex paints, and 5%–12% for industrial anti-corrosion coatings. It should be added during the grinding and dispersion stage together with other pigments and fillers.
