Melamine、2,4,6‑Triamino‑s‑triazine
Melamine (2,4,6‑Triamino‑s‑triazine) is a specialized functional chemical raw material and must not be directly added to ordinary architectural latex paints or textured coatings. It serves as a monomer for amino resin synthesis; after etherification modification, it acts as a cross-linking agent for baking coatings, greatly enhancing film hardness, chemical resistance and weather resistance. Additionally, it functions as a core flame-retardant component in intumescent fireproof coatings, with an optimal addition level of 5%–15% of the total coating mass. For application, it should be fed during the high-speed dispersion stage, while dust protection measures must be strictly observed and exposure to high temperatures avoided.
