Anti‑Flash‑Rust Inhibitor
The Water-based Anti-Flash-Rust Inhibitor is a chelating-passivating additive specifically formulated for water-based metal coatings. It forms a dense protective film on the surfaces of steel, cast iron, and weld joints during film drying to effectively prevent flash rust formation; certain premium grades also offer in-can metal corrosion protection. Compatible with mainstream industrial metal coating systems such as water-based acrylic, alkyd, and epoxy formulations, the recommended dosage is 0.5%-1.0% for ordinary carbon steel substrates and 1.0%-2.0% for cast iron and welded substrates. It should be added gradually after pre-dilution in water during the late mixing stage at low speed to ensure optimal performance.
